Media wants a horserace

In the words of Glen Greenwald published last February (2014), “One of the many pressing stories that remains to be told from the Snowden archive is how western intelligence agencies are attempting to manipulate and control online discourse with extreme tactics of deception and reputation-destruction.” Using the US governments own top secret documents released by Snowden proving their objectives, we can read their own words of what they are doing against the American people as they themselves state their purpose is to: (1) to inject all sorts of false material onto the internet in order to destroy the reputation of its targets; and (2) to use social sciences and other techniques to manipulate online discourse and activism to generate outcomes it considers desirable.

Now please ask yourself this simple question: “What kind of government would deliberately spend billions of dollars to destroy the reputations, and manipulate online discourse, of those who attempt to tell people the truth?” Then ask, “What kind of press establishment allows the government to do this without being challenged?”

Your answers to these two questions can only lead to one conclusion…both your government, and your mainstream press, consider YOU to be the enemy.

That is why everybody who tries to bring you the truth is attacked by the government.

There are no secrets anymore, just massive deception and denial. This is an unecessarily dangerous time. The US and NATO are conducting their largest wide-scale war games in modern history in the Baltic states and creating a “line of troops” across Eastern Europe….while at the same time thousands of Russia troops are in full combat alert while Russian nuclear missiles are being moved to the front lines and Russia’s strategic nuclear bombers are in the air and ready to attack.

The only FACT remaining unknown right now is if/when these two titanic forces will begin fighting? And if/when they do it will go nuclear.

On second thought, I just read somthing which has changed my thinking. If nuclear war comes, it will be triggered by paranoia. Consequently, what we must prevent is not combat between Russians and Americans, that is more than likely happening as we speak. What we need to do right away to avert a nuclear war is to instantly repair the relationship between Obama and Putin the very same way it was instantly "repaired" in 1962.

Think about it. If that doesn't happen very soon, aren't we all doomed? To convince you, I am presenting two versions of the same event -the one in red is provided by the Russians and the one in blue is provided by the Americans. After you read these two versions, I do not think you will have any doubt about the absolute urgency to fix the current, poisonous relationship between Russia and the United States.

This is what the Russians said;

A new report circulating in the Kremlin today prepared by the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) for the Ministry of Defense (MoD) states that President Barack Obama’s nuclear war communication commander has been arrested and relieved of her command after failing to transmit launch codes authorizing an atomic weapons first-strike attack upon the Federation in coordination with a similar “surprise” attack planned by the United Kingdom.

According to the SVR, US Navy Captain Heather E. Cole was the commander of the US Navy’s Strategic Communications Wing 1 located at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma whose E-6B Mercury aircraft provide the communications links allowing President Obama and US Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter to directly contact the submarines, bombers and land-based missiles that comprise the United States strategic nuclear force.

On Monday, 16 March, this report states, Captain Cole received from the Pentagon a launch order authorizing a “limited” nuclear strike against the Federation, but which failed due to a critical Permissive Action Link (PAL) failure thus causing her to abort this planned attack.

As a PAL is a security device for nuclear weapons whose purpose is to prevent unauthorized arming or detonation of the nuclear weapons, SVR experts in this report explain, the critical failure in this instance was an added security measure ordered by the former US Secretary of Defense, Chuck Hagel, prior to his being forced out of office last month over his refusal to have any part in this attack against Russia.

This report further explains that Secretary Carter was not aware of Secretary Hagel’s PAL security changes thus allowing Captain Cole to abort this planned nuclear attack.

For her failure to communicate the launch authorization to US nuclear forces, this report continues, Captain Cole was arrested on Tuesday, 17 March, relieved of her command and then taken by armed guard to US Naval Air Station (NAS) Miramar in San Diego (California) where she remains incommunicado.

The SVR in their report on Captain Cole’s refusal to start World War III further states that her actions mirrors those of Soviet Naval Captain Vasili Arkhipov, who during the Cuban Missile Crisis, in 1962, also refused to obey orders to launch nuclear weapons against the United States.

Upon Captain Cole being arrested, a MoD appendix to this SVR report says, President Putin ordered the Federations strategic nuclear bomber forces to their “fail-safe” locations in the Arctic (the fastest air route to the US from Russia), an expansion of the Northern Fleet’s combat operations into the Norwegian Sea, and continued combat air operations.

TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. (NNS) -- Commander, Naval Air Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet (CNAP), relieved the commander of Strategic Communications Wing 1 (SCW 1) and Task Force (TF) 124 at Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., March 17, due to a loss of confidence in the commander's ability to lead.

CNAP Vice Adm. Mike Shoemaker relieved Capt. Heather E. Cole, commander, SCW 1 and TF 124, of her duties.

The action resulted from the initial findings of an investigation, which determined that Cole had not performed up to the high standards demanded of an officer in command.

Cole has been temporarily assigned to the CNAP staff pending the final adjudication of the case.

Capt. Brian McCormick, the former deputy commander of SCW 1 and TF 124, has been assigned as acting commander of the wing and task force.

SCW 1 is an administrative command, responsible to Commander Naval Air Forces (CNAF), for manning, training and equipping the Navy squadrons responsible for nuclear command and control communication to the nation's nuclear triad. TF 124 is an operational command, responsible to Commander, U.S. Strategic Command, which provides the airborne platform and aircrew for the U.S. Strategic Command Airborne Command Post, the Airborne Launch Control System, the Non-Strategic Nuclear Forces Theater Commanders and the "Take Charge and Move Out" (TACAMO) Emergency Action Message relay missions.

SCW 1/TF 124 has direct responsibility for Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron (VQ) 3; VQ-4; VQ-7; VQ-3 Detachment Travis Air Force Base, Calif.; SCW 1 Detachment Offutt Air Force Base, Neb.; and VQ-4 Detachment Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Md.

If you do not clearly understand the urgent need to deal with current misunderstandings, I see no hope.
