I read the news today oh boy

Ryan Widmer's father collapsed and weeped outside the Warren County Courthouse on Tuesday after hearing a jury convict his son of the death of his wife. Later, Gary Widmer collected himself and spoke with reporters, saying he didn't understand how the verdict was reached. "He's a caring, loving child. He didn't do anything."

One juror said the fact that Widmer didn't testify on his own behalf played a part in their decision. The jury was cautioned numerous times by the judge that Widmer had a Constitutional right not to testify. "It was the hardest decision any of us ever had to make," she said. "We tried every way to find excuses for Ryan and there was none."

If they can't even find an excuse for the fact that he didn't testify, the jury's intellectual capacity was clearly, extremely limited.
