Congressman, Peter King's tribute to the King of Pop

This is what Congressman Peter King said:

"For the last, I don't know how long now, this low-life, Michael Jackson -his name, his face, his picture, is all over the newspapers, television, radio -all we hear about is Michael Jackson. Let's cut out the psycho-babble. This guy was a pervert, was a child molester, he was a pedophile and giving this much coverage day in and day out, what's it say about our country? I just think we're too politically correct. Nobody wants to stand up and say, we don't need Michael Jackson. You know, he died, he had some talent, fine, there's people dying every day. There's men and women dying every day, say in Afghanistan. I think the media has disgraced themselves. I think that too many people in public life have made fools of themselves by talking about Michael Jackson like he's some kind of hero. There's nothing new about this guy. Maybe he's a good singer and some dancing. The bottom line is, would you let your child or grandchild be in the same room as Michael Jackson? What are we glorifying him for? So anyways, let's take some time out to look to the people that truly make this a great country. The men and women of the armed forces, police, firefighters, teachers who work in really rough neighborhoods, people who volunteer with dying cancer patients, people who work in aids clinics -they're the ones that we should be glorifying, not some pervert like Michael Jackson."

New York Republican Congressman Peter King is an angry, out of touch, prototypical contemporary Republican congressman who trashed Michael Jackson because he will never be as successful and as loved as the King of pop is. He actually trashed and unashamedly defamed Jackson even while the Jackson family was still trying to cope with Michael's death -the man was not even buried.

Michael Jackson devoted his considerable talents to carrying a message of peace and harmony throughout the world – and that is something that Republicans will never understand.

King's elitist distaste for the admiration felt by untold millions of Americans for Michael Jackson is based in the same authoritarian lunacy that dictators impose on society.

The emotional hurt that King imposed upon the Jackson family is remedied by the widespread acknowledgement that Peter King represents the lunatic fringe, he is not a person who is respected for his understanding or his intellect.

Michael Jackson reached out to black and white alike in a manner that made President Obama note that people like Michael Jackson are responsible for paving the way for the election of the first African-American President. Perhaps that is the real reason that Peter King hates Michael Jackson.

Democrats and Republicans alike need to grow up. Now if the democrats crown queen Hillary, all bets are off because she is beginning to sound as elitist as Peter King does -and that is just a reflection the opinion that Hillary needs to groom somebody like Elizabeth Warren, because we need to forget about the Bushes, or another "too close to call" election

Pretending to be Warren is not exactly what reasonable people want or expect.
