When you mix politics with sexual allegations, you get people like Ken Starr trying to force Julie Hiat Steele to lie or she would spend the next 35 years of her life in prison, simply because she had the courage to tell the truth.

Kathleen Willey on the other hand, who cooperated with Ken Starr, did the talk show circuit to publicly urge Ken Starr to continue to pursue Steele on the absurd allegation that Steele had obstructed justice.

Kathleen Willey had a choice. She could choose to tell the truth and to refuse to cooperate with Ken Starr's Inquisition, or she could choose to be one of his predators to avoid being prosecuted because her financial dealings were on the cross hairs of Ken Starr's highly magnified, merciless microscope.

According to Kathleen Willey; "I think that Ken Starr and the people in his Office are very professional. I think that Ken Starr is a very honorable man and I had nothing but good rapport with them and the FBI agents, all of them -I can't say enough about them."

This is Julie Hiatt Steele's statement dated September 23, 1999:

"My name is Julie Hiatt Steele. I have lived in Richmond, Virginia for the past twenty-one years. Next month I will be fifty-three years old. I am the mother of four children, three surviving, and the grandmother of two. Divorced in 1984, I became the single parent of my youngest child, Adam, when I adopted him in Romania in 1990. He was ten weeks old when I found him; we recently celebrated his ninth birthday.

I have never committed a crime -- I have never even been cited for a traffic violation. I had no political history, connections, or agenda in 1997. I voted for George Bush in 1992 and did not vote in 1996, a mistake I have no intention of repeating. I have never met, nor have I spoken with, the President, Mrs. Clinton, Paula Jones, Monica Lewinsky, Linda Tripp, or Ken Starr. I have no friends working in the White House and I have never been employed by the government. I have never been to the White House, even as a tourist. I certainly have never been threatened by the White House or by anyone associated with the White House.

My family and I have learned that this is not the country we thought we lived in. I have been humiliated and bullied; I have been persecuted and ultimately prosecuted, by Kenneth Starr and the OIC for refusing to corroborate Kathleen Willey's claim that President Clinton groped her. I also have been financially destroyed. I lost my job, and have been unable to work. I am now losing a home I once owned free and clear."

Remember the Arkansas Project, which paid women like Paula Jones and Juanita Broaddrick, to fabricate stories about President Bill Clinton.

Why do we believe those fabrications now when the evidence clearly proves that Jones and Broaddrick failed to blackmail the President of the United States because they were not credible?

I rehash all of the above because it reminded me of a current allegation against Franken and this is how the media is reporting that:

A former Democratic congressional aide said Sen. Al Franken, a Minnesota Democrat, attempted to forcibly kiss her following a taping of his radio show in 2006, Politico reported, growing the number of women who have accused the senator of sexual misconduct to seven.

The unnamed woman, who was in her mid-20s at the time, said she was forced to duck quickly to avoid the kiss, as Franken, then a professional comedian, said it was his "right as an entertainer" to kiss her.

"He was between me and the door and he was coming at me to kiss me. It was very quick and I think my brain had to work really hard to be like 'Wait, what is happening?' But I knew whatever was happening was not right and I ducked," the aide told Politico. "I was really startled by it and I just sort of booked it towards the door and he said, 'It's my right as an entertainer.'"

My radar indicates that somebody like Al Franken would never say something like "an entertainer like me" hense the allegation is absolutely fabricated. That sounds exactly like something that President Donald Trump has in fact said, and somebody has consequently fabricated his or her idea of a story that is easy to sell in the current environment.

This sound like the Arkansas Project Part Two, and it is very consistent with typical, Republican Machine strategy. I certainly refuse to believe a single word of the above story unless Senator Al Franken acknowledges it. The man is very honest and I trust him.

I understand the fact that the failure to turn Clinton into Nixon is still a raw nerve for many and that Al Franken is their way to attempt to get even. I just hope it doesn't work, for the sake of truth and justice.

And let us not forget that when Democrats allow Republicans to destroy somebody like Senator Al Franken, they get exactly what they deserve when they cannot even defeat somebody like Donald Trump.

Next: Trump self-destructs again and again and again.
